Breathing problems can range from a diagnosis of COPD to Asthma or more recently COVID19.   At Encompass Rehab, our Physiotherapists have the skill set to assess and treat a variety of respiratory conditions.  When required we will refer on for relevant medical assessment. Our treatments involve : pulmonary rehabilitation (graduated cardiovascular exercises to improve respiratory health), airway clearance and management of breathlessness.

What happens during a home visit:

• One of our Physiotherapists will telephone and arrange a time to come to your home for your initial assessment.
• We will talk through your medical history and your specific goals for therapy.
• We will then do a physical assessment of your joint movements and muscle strength. Followed by a balance and gait (walking) assessment.
• Based on our assessment we will create a client-specific programme, based on your goals and likes/dislikes.
